To pan, it is much simpler to just use the rudder to turn your Octa, especially in simple mode, that is what I do. The mount auto-stabilizes from the pins, and you can tilt it as well from a slider on your radio. I set my servo speed on the radio to 5s/60deg and now it transitions nice and smooth
