Howdy All,

I stumbled across this project yesterday. It uses UWB Decawave chips. The Pozyx is a Arduino shield. The system is made up of 4 anchors around the room and 1 arduino compatible tag. A Pozyx team member confirmed that their system could be programmed to produce a "fake" GPS signal so perhaps it could be plugged into the GPS input of a Pixhawk.

Check out the Kickstarter

Thanks

    • can this sensor using in rover ?

    • Our plan is to program the Arduino to send real GPS messages to the Pixhawk based on the location of the Pozyx. So as far as the Pixhawk/rover is concerned its connected to a real GPS. If all goes according to plan, we'll be able to use the Mission Planner as well.

Hopefully others here will join in to suggest better ways and/or maybe with some Arduino code to try.

Also since it did reach its ROS support stretch goal, maybe the Erle Robotic controller might be the way to go.
