Fastening the prop to the motor

Has anyone found a good internal-tooth washer and nut to fasten the prop to the motor?

I tried some M5-0.80 hardware from Lowe's based on 3DR's website, but it doesn't seem to fit properly.

When the Iris lands in tall grass or something touches the prop, the nut and washer often fly off so I think it would be useful to find local hardware for replacements.

  • I bought the #10-32 nut and #10 washer from Home Depot. It works perfectly, but I also needed to purchase the 3/8 Husky wrench. See picture.

  • Use Loctite. or a locking castle nut
