This group is for those who are interested in helping to contribute, build, test and operate the open-source detect and avoid network (OpenDAA) built using Neuron SDK software library.
The aim of this group is to build low-cost open systems to provide drones with situational awareness of other aircraft and drones whilst we fly to enable BVLOS operations for the masses. Our mission is to ensure that BVLOS remains low-cost and accessible to everyone, and the network is owned and self-managed by the community.

How OpenDAA works
The Neuron Node SDK turns any computer into a node in the network. This SDK has been integrated into the Jetvision Airsquitter sensor. This sensor can receive Mode-C, Mode-S, ADS-B, Flarm & UAT data from drones and aircraft. The opensource Neuron SDK means that this data is accessible by any other software application that has been integrated with the Neuron SDK.
