I am having issue with my Ailerons and rudder not moving in the correct position.
I have followed this tutorial and a thread on here, however I still can not get my rudder or Ailerons to go in the correct position.
I am using a Royal Pro 7 Transmitter with the RX-7-DR reciever.
I don't want to reverse the directions manually on the Transmitter because if the plane is to do Auto mode then it will also be using the wrong reverse directions.
My left Aileron wing is connected to RC1 and the right wing on RC8 on the Pixhawk. The RC8 function has been updated to value 4 to represent Aileron.
The receiver is connected to a PPM encoder which is then connected to the Pixhawk RC In.
Any help is appreciated.
Firmware: ArduPlane V3.2.3

Hi Qerim,
You have no choice in the Manual Mode but to use the transmitter reversing function to get correct rudder and aileron movement in the Manual Mode.
As for the Auto Mode, if the rudder and aileron moment are not correct in the Auto Mode, then check the "reverse" boxes next to the rudder and aileron bars in the Radio Calibration screen to get correct movement.

Hi Thomas,
Thank you for your fast response!
Any reason why this is the case?

@Qerim,
This is the way it works on the ArduRover firmware and I believe it is the same for the ArduPlane because the Wiki tells you to use the transmitter reverse function for correct servo movement in the Manual Mode.
When in the Auto Mode, the only obvious way to change the servo movement, without disturbing the Manual Mode movement, is by checking the "reverse" box in the Radio Calibration screen.
You will have to ask the ArduPlane firmware Developers as to why this is the way it functions.

Thank you very much Thomas.
