    How good is your Talon when dealing with altitude ?

    I'm running some tests with my Talon to understand how well the target altitude at waypoints is reached and maintained as well as during Loiter mode.

    This is how my Talon do in Loiter with some 3 m/s wind, as you can see the altitude since the beginning is not well hold.
    Do not know if is my plane or TECS algorithm

    When Loiter was engaged plane was at 27,790 meters but it went to 36,5 meters and then the altitude delta was  11,91 meters, really a lot .

    So is it my Talon or the TECS ?

    Gustav - great info below and certainly points me in the right direction, in terms of hardware, any changes recommended if you were to use wing extensions? I'm looking for a commercial mapping solution so interested in yr thoughts

    Although I've done zero flying myself lately, I've had to assist a friend with his Talon.

    Hi all

    By changing to any mode the Pixhawk turn the engine off even in flight.

    Can help solve this issue! I'm getting crazy trying to change parameters.

auto grid mission with my talon

Pixhawk Mini and Spektrum Controller

Hi friends,I'm currently trying to integrate a pixhawk into my XUAV talon that I have built for aerial photography. X-UAV Build

Hi all,I'm looking for an airframe that will ultimately be aimed at mapping/orthomosaic type projects and the Talon is one we are certainly interested in.I know this has probably been asked 100 times, but does anyone have any information or could point me to links of existing threads that outline a good build and components that work well with the talon.I'm in Australia so pretty sure there won't be much available here in country so will be looking abroad to build the kit.Are the wing…
