I am working on stabilizing my mapping camera using the built-in gimbal function and it is very jumpy/stepping in the roll axis. I do not notice it in the pitch axis. I have tried three high-quality, high-speed digital servos and one analog servo wi
The title says it all. I am using a servo actuated gimbal with the APM as the controller, and the roll axis is very jumpy. It is not smooth, but seems to take large jumps, or steps. This doesn't happen in the pitch axis.
I am trying to calculate the mean, max, and min current from a 52 minute flight using a tlog. The graph looks like a straight line because of the duration. I cannot make any sense of the .csv file, because it doesn't appear to be columna
I have tried using visual mode and HTML Editor. I know nothing about HTML, so I tried pasting the new and old HTML code at the point in my blog post that I want it. I may be missing some code.
I am really interested in working with some of my farmer friends to monitor crops using NDVI. I get the concept, but what I am struggling with is using the reading to reflect nitrogen needs vs irrigation needs. I have been reading scholarly articles,
I am trying to figure out how to get my plane tuned for level flight and climbing. I have a Bixler 1.1 that is set up for long duration flights. It weighs ~1100 g and makes ~425 g thrust. I want to set 11 m/s the default airspeed in flight (I have an
I am planning on building one of these in the distant future, but I am unsure what is the best motor and prop combo to go with. I would be much obliged if some of you could list your setup here.
In flight planner, the actual number are gone in the first column of the command interface. Anyone know what this is about? I can post a screen shot later if need be.
I am trying to tune my speed for different parts of a mission, but when I use the DO CHANGE SPEED command, the APM goes haywire as soon as I hit the switch from manual mode. I am trying to use it at a couple different places in the mission.
I just started my drone adventure this Christmas with a Bixler 1.1, and it is performing GREAT. I have been flying missions, loitering, RTL, and even self-landing. I am planning a mission to my brother's house about 2.5Km away, and would like to land
I am just getting started with a Bixler drone running an APM 2.6 and uBlox GPS/compass module. Does the GPS sensor need to be flat to work correctly? I have it mounted on the back third of the wing, so it is sloped downward in the direction of the ta
There is a thread that I cannot find with the info I need. I am getting ready to set up a HK Bixler v1.1 and would like to know the best motor/prop setup for long flight times. I will probably start with the stock motor and 2200 mAh battery to begin
I am planning a heli drone build and have a couple questions. I will keep adding as I go.First, can I work the programming bugs out on a cheap 450 and then transfer the hardware to a bigger platform, such as a 500? I am sure it would require some tun
