OUTBACK Joe is my hero. have flown multicopters and fixed wing autonomously. mission oriented goals. (delivery of urgent materials/medicines in hazardous weather in remote areas) Want to get a synthetic vision using google earth and the gps stream from mavlink into the gcs as the video stream behind the hud. want to get the cheap clipon satellite case for iphone/galaxy working as the data stream.

"Is the servo reading the signal?

With power off, move the servo and power on. Does it move?

I think the pixhawk has varying output modes, 400hz vs 50hz etc"

It's possible you have too much longitudinal dihedral and the cg too far forward,
Or
The thrust line generates pitch up."

"Could be a rudder mix thing?
Tried flying with the rudder unplugged?

Is the torque of the motor prop combo too high?

Really I'm just going through a series of fault finding procedures here cause I dont know the answer."

So far it looks like this?

Drone --> mavlink --> gcs --> Google.

From what I can understand , Google generates its own hud and can just run as a standalone."

Synthetic vision will work over standard satellite 2.4k baud but camera needs 5mhz analog.

Synthetic vision gives enough information to know if it over a town or near a mountain (controlled flight into terrain)"
