This has been frustrating to say the least first the quad was flying just fine an hour before upgrading the firmware to 3.1 and then not working at all i might just through in the towel on this one.

So after checking my APM voltage regulator out put per the link it had 4.4 v so i ordered the new parts from digi key the board is the 2.5.2 they came i installed the new reg checked the out put of the new reg it measured 4.8 v so what…"

"the voltage is 4.3 v and my flight data page was not going crazy as most have described only the bad gyro health so wait and see i guess.

"I have checked the voltage at the regulator and it is above 3.3 v so i have ordered a replacement for it my hope is that nothing else has gone down.

"Ok so help me wrap my head around this the regulator blows but it dose not blow open as i would expect it leaks a higher voltage i think the chip quality is the issue.
So after the regulator is replaced everything works normally ?

Yes i see that this is a common problem after updating to 3.1 i would think that 3dr would take care of the issue guess not.
Thanks for the information i am going to try and go back to previous 2.9

Is it possible to go backwards in version say from 3.1 back to 2.9 my apm worked in 2.9 but came up with a problem in 3.1.
