I just build my 1st FPV plane and still testing all systems on the ground. I used Eagletree OSD , logger and GPS. JUL . 2011. I just got ARDUMEGA Pilot and I'm trying to find some time to implement into my FPV plane and test it.

"you might have problem with the motor or ESC for that motor. Easy way to check : swap motors ( for example 2 with 3 and then see it the problems happens again with number 2 or number 3 this way you can find out which part has the issue."

1. use new DX8 or new DX7 with telemetry which has RSSI
2. use Eagletree OSD or similar which allows you to feedback RSSI for your RX and for your video signal.
I so not use Xbee i have no experience with it.
