About Me:

Work for a software developer in Sydney. Obsessed with RC as a child. Now in my 40's and enough spare cash to tinker in RC hobbies, I'm drawn towards multicopters and FPV flying.

Please tell us a bit about your UAV interest

I like photography and I like flying RC planes/heli's. Put the two together...

"Hi Paul,
Did you at some point have a look at my gear on www.groushousetechnologies.com?  I just recall someone asking about doing straight down mapping.  I now have a gimbal which will take up to NEX-7 sized cameras as well as a 3 or 2 axis mount…"

I'd be more interested in the live telemetry info overlaid on a map.  I think the best set up would be to use long distance radios between drone…"

"Some aggressive flying to test the gimbal limits from Alek B.  One hex motor is a bit dodgy apparently.  Can't imagine flying like this myself with a nice NEX sitting on my hexacopter.  Very confident flyer."
