About Me:

Recently got into the world of arduino[duemilanove328p](loving it!) Grew up with trainer level r/c planes/helis/cars/trucks. Upgrading now to a 2.4Ghz on a predator 400class w/ the intent of getting the new APM and making a uav.

Please tell us a bit about your UAV interest

I want a surveillance drone for home security, that I can fly long range for exploration/research of my local geographical area(site see resevoirs/countryside), and possibly be of assistance to my local rescue/p.d. I have done a lot of research into solar flight or "endless flight", I wouldnt mind applying that knowledge to my predator uav to aid in long flight capabilities(maybe just use solar for motor power, batteries for the rest of the electonics.
