"Cristo -  I cannot answer all your questions right now because some are so camera altitude dependent that it is difficult to answer some questions without referring to some of our tables, and I am in the process of packing my office.  I am retiring…"

"James, as they say, "the proof is in the pudding."  We are getting r-square values using the MaxMax NDVI cameras of 0.91 for corn yields and 0.94 for tallgrass biomass estimates.  The NIR band is located along the red edge, which is where a lot of…"

"Mark , yeah, I am not surprised at the image quality of the TetraCam.  I have not talked to a single person who has purchased one who is impressed with the image quality.  The term I often hear used to describe the image quality is "adequate."  The…"

"Actually, multiple polls are showing that the general population has little concern about the use of drones for military or peaceful applications.

"You obviously do not live in Kansas were we can see everything for miles and with multiple spotters watching and listening, I am SURE we would know if a crop duster were in the area.  I have only seen one plane that was miles away during all the…"

"I have heard the issues with crop dusters before, but cannot believe anyone flying these UAVs could not hear them coming and get the heck out of the way long before there is a problem.  If we are dealing with stupidity, then there is no way to make…"

"Thanks Monroe.  The meeting is actually in the field where flying demonstrations will be made for the US Senator, and talks will be given by several including the Senator.  This one is a invitation occasion and so I will just have to let people know…"

"Yes, the COA helps keep academics from flying and doing valuable research in the same areas hobbyists can fly in without restriction."

"I have eyeballs and when we have flown in the rural ag areas, we never even see another plane.  Hobbyists can fly in these areas with no problem and few restrictions.  So, why is it ok for them and not a commercial companyor academics, and why can…"

"Gary, interesting examples, but both examples were military where they are intentionally flying in the same air space, and using much heavier planes than most farmers would even consider using.  We are flying a 5 lb foam rubber plane and under 400…"

"Well, let's use other countries where the citizens have much more freedom to fly sUAS and let's look at their mid-air collision records between manned aircraft and sUAS.  Other countries are many years ahead of the US because they do not face the…"

"I am still waiting to see where the small unmanned aircraft have been involved in a mid air collision.  I would then ask if there were a few cases, why pick on the sUAS.  If a collision or two is justification for grounding sUAS, then we need to…"

"US Federal Aviation Administration (FAA) regulations have really slowed program in this area in the US.  It is nearly impossible for a company to form that wishes to use sUAS technology because FAA will shut them down.  We are praying for a more…"
