I'm software developer, concentrating on mobile applications. I run own company named Lonely Cat Games, selling software worldwide on Internet to individual customers. In spare time I'm trying to fly planes, mainly feeding them with various electronics and let make them fly intelligently. "jordi: another solution is to watch throttle signal, if it goes low, RC may be out of range. Then do something special like RTL. But one must consider this when manually controlling plane, manually gliding would not work then."

"Jordi, will this work with 2.4GHz digital RC receivers? As I know, these RC's don't ever send invalid pulse, and in case of signal lost, my Spektrum RC keeps last values for all channels except throttle which is cut."

"When Spektrum RC loses signal, it keeps last values for all channels except throttle, which is cut down. Also autopilot toggle channel keeps last value (probably manual mode). This would result in plane crash.

"Best is if stabilization sensor would be a "plugin", replacable or selectable component of the software. Someone chooses IR because it works and is cheaper, someone uses gyro because of the valley or better performance. Stabilization code may work…"

"I fixed the ArduPilot_20090211.zip now, download it again. It contains those ArduPilot.vs folder, so just extract the zip somewhere. Then copy AVR Studio into that ArduPilot.vs folder.
