INTRODUCING THE OWL CAM from ANTIMEDIA on Vimeo.
Norwegian Film company presents the owl cam. Basically, a brushless gimbal mounted on a helmet.
Iam wondering if such a system could withstand the shocks of a skier jumping and going full speed (impacts + wind) in order to be used as a POV camera.
I'm a big fan of this kind of ideas, but I still believe there must be a better solution to stabilize footage other than a bulky gimbal.
Maybe a system like this could be the answer?
Imagine a miniaturized version of these mirrors that you could plug in front of any camera. adding automatic subject tracking instead of remote controlled
