With Twitter filing for a patent on drone selfies, they are the first social media platform to publicly get into the drone technology space.

Well, we are excited to say that MyROZ was there first! As the MyROZ concept has been long in the founder’s mind, he was just waiting for the right time. 

MyROZ is a UAV/ drone pilot interactive application which builds unofficial operational airspace for its users.  This technology provides users with other MyROZ users drone flight data for their immediate environment, in addition to FAA restricted airspace data, enabling them to practice safe and responsible drone activities.

The social aspect of the MyROZ app is not only the first of its kind, but currently it’s the only one. At the moment users can share drone data and flight data to Facebook, You Tube, and to each other in the UiN zone. UiN is a condensation play on words for “Are You In?”. The UiN allows MyROZ  users to send each other messages, pictures, and videos. We have many more enhancements in the pipeline for this exciting feature.

MyROZ originates from the aviation term “ROZ” which stands for Restricted Operating Zone. Its foundational purpose is to not only be the first worldwide drone interaction app, but foremost to educate and guide UAV/ drone operators and the general public in the practice of safe and fun drone operations. MyROZ is a free application with additional paid  premium services and is compatible on all mobile devices and desktop computers. The MyROZ app has been 100% funded by its founders and will be maintained in the near future by premium feature subscriptions and third party advertisements. 

MyROZ is now in the BETA testing phase and is allowing users to test out all features free of charge.  All that is required is for the users honest feedback regarding current features and suggestions on what is missing from their current UAV/drone activities. Engaged participants will receive a MyROZ T-shirt and the premium version of the platform free for three months!
