"Thanks for the suggestion :-)

As for the D435 , take a look at my code, you can make arrays of differents resolution and extract the minimum value (closest object) using numpy

"Hello,
As the title says, it is GPS denied environment.
To make it clear and simple,  we are generally referencing to  "non-GPS"  so everyone can understand that the autonomous modes (like Loiter - Guided and Auto) are being processed by a different…"

Patrick Poirier commented on Patrick Poirier's blog post Autonomous Flying using the RealSense T265 Tracking Camera in GPS Denied Environment
"Well, it is a little off-topic, but what you might consider is using the D435 API (or Python Wrapper) to generate the 100 points x 100 points depth live array. I did something similar and it works quite good.

We are looking as well or the official…"

"Hello

TFMINI LIDAR is the best rangefinder for low cost small distance 6 M.
Sonar is really not recommended for drones but it works ok for rovers"

"Hello
please note that this sensor Hc-SR04, is no longer supported on the actual release. You can use I2C or serial based rangefinder for altitude and  avoidance.

"Bonjour André,
That is quite good !!
It makes the concept a real time avoidance system, even without the Movidius.
The gain with Movidius  (5X) is less than what Intel's Marketing  is pretending with... ''one order of magnitude'' .. but its more in…"

"Bonjour André,
Looking at the video , I see you are using dronet  https://github.com/uzh-rpg/rpg_public_dronet for training on a fly/stop scenario which is the best strategy for testing. The speed seems pretty good on the PC (I would say 30 HZ), but…"
