Please tell us a bit about your UAV interest

Led seminar in UAV Applications for Natural Resources Research & conservation U of Idaho (Spring 2014). Current satellite-based options are too expensive for most developing country users. UAVs offer opportunities to bypass critical spatial, temporal, cost, and cloud cover challenges, which are severe limitations for traditional remote sensing in tropical remote sensing of land cover/land use changes, empowering the user, not the provider.
