IT director working in a public school. RC hobbyist. Married with a kid fixing to graduate from Texas State University. I am a retired veteran of the United States Air Force in which I served 21 years as an F-16 technician.
Please tell us a bit about your UAV interest
In the past I have built electric RC gliders and have had several RC vehicles. Recently started flying drones. Started on a Syma X5C-1, went to a Phantom 2 w/GoPro and love it. I am really excited about the Solo and I am anxiously awaiting it's release. I will get one!!

"In normal Fly mode you will not get 55MPH. I believe it is around 30 MPH. In Acro mode you might get that speed. I can get around 20 minutes of flight time leaving the battery at around 25%."

"Here's a kick in the head....B&H in stock with gimbals. April preorders still waiting. DSLRPros told me they were supposed to receive gimbals last week and got backpacks instead. Gimbals went to B&H I would say."
