Please tell us a bit about your UAV interest

I have always been fond of robotics since my under-graduation days. Now, I am living my dream by working in NavStik Labs, wherein we work towards building autonomous robots, a reality in near future.

This summer, one of the interns at NavStik Labs, Saumya Saksena (an undergraduate student), built a low-cost obstacle detection kit using ultrasonic sensors. He also designed a custom web-app to configure his sensor-kit and visualise the obstacle…

"Hi alex,
I am sorry, I couldn't get you. Are you asking about the FC as in the hardware or software? The FC board inside the FlytPOD is our proprietary board using STM32 running fork of PX4 customised for our board. Regarding the power, FlytPOD has…"

"Hi kyle,
We did put in a lot of effort making sure that the hardware as well as our software makes the job of developers easy. So thank you for acknowledging it, means a lot to us. Please back us and as we proudly say - 'Join the Drone Revolution'."

"You are absolutely right, we have endless power in our side. The onboard storm32 takes care of the internal loop rate, as you did rightly mentioned. We can surely have a better algorithm running on our side, on top of gimbal controller of storm32.…"

"Hi Gary,
We have come a long way since we launched our beta program this year in the month of February. By the time we finished our beta campaign, we had received more that 250 beta signups. This is what made us believe the market however niche it…"

"@pascal, yeah you are absolutely right, the FC is completely decoupled from ODROID. ODROID simply sends setpoint/waypoint commands to FC. In an event of ODROID failure, the FC would still keep the drone stable, waiting for the user's RC to take…"

"Ok, to begin with we can have two simultaneous tracking algorithms working in tandem.
The first one being in OpenTLD(where TLD stands for Tracking-Learning-Detection). This visual tracking involves probably predicting and correcting where the target…"

"Hi,
Sorry for the misunderstanding, but we indeed are using SToRM32 controller for the gimbal. As you might as well know, the controller does provide its current orientation, but we don't need that information as we are using a PID control strategy…"
