No problem!  Your questions were valid.  We were unaware of the many nuances when we started doing this as well!  So much trial and error!  And believe us, we feel your pain when it comes to fasteners.  :)

Thanks for you interest!  We don't have any horizontal mounting brackets currently but if there is enough interest we can add them to our product line.  For now, I can think of a few easy DIY solutions that might solve your problem.…"

This isn't exactly my finest product photography work (my workbench tends to be a bit messy) but here you go!  :)

As for your question about the 3DR Y6, I'd have to look up the dimensions, but from eyeing it I would say it's likely…"

"That's great Jordi!  Can't wait to see the pics.  By the way, after you mentioned that you were using a local fablab, we did some investigating and found out that there is one under construction in our neck of the woods!  Should be a great resource."

No worries about response time!  CNC can get expensive.  Luckily we have a friend who has been cutting our pieces off the clock.  In regard to laser cutting, when we started thinking about this project we gathered as many quotes as we could…"

"We have done some calculations. Garolite G10 has a density of 0.069 pounds per cubic inch, whereas 6061 aluminum, which we are using, has a density of 0.0975 pounds per cubic inch. Switching to 1/16" Garolite G10 in place of 1/16" 6061 aluminum…"
