Initially I was interested RC aircraft and this led me to UAV's. I also hold a long standing interest in the way UAV's are used by organisations to exercise control over and manipulation of populations.

I have suffered from the same issue with APM and Pixhawk (which I thought would be immune because of fancy dual sensors and clever EK Filter..).

you were right. I remounted my Pixhawk using one of the methods suggested in the Arducopter instructions and test flew today. No more zoom climbs. Very windy, but she handled 20mph gusts!

"Log from my pre-arm fail today with bad accel health. Quad had been in car at 2 celsius for the night. Shows same difference between IMU and IMU2 AccX readings. Also Y and Z axes affected.

"Yes Denny, I believe it is running APM code (as do their QR X350 and the QR X800 quads). Sounds like a sound strategy to me if they can get the hardware right. Walkera are generally good products in my limited experience of their helis."
