  • Thants Knut, that is really helpful feedback. I'll check it when (if!) I ever get it flying again and if it looks reasonable I won't change anything.

  • The values I measured are quite good. On my airframe, I wouldn't have changed a thing regarding vibration.

    (I've since thrown the Pocket Drone away as it's an utter piece of trash for a million other well-documented reasons, but vibration levels were good.)

    Measure your own vibration levels to see how they compare to the recommended ranges. Thicker foam does not automatically translate to better dampening.

  • Is this good or bad? I'm still dealing with some of the "other" PD issues but I did realise the other day that the board is merely mounted on a bit of thin foam whereas a lot of drones I've seen had the APM on rubber mounts. Would you say it is worth doing something about that?  I have some better (read thicker) foam I could mount it on.
