Remote Control Pan/Tilt for Action CAM

This is my portable, wireless remote controlled Pan/Tilt setup mounted to the left wing strut of my Cessna 172 Skyhawk. The only real issue I had was backlash. The video cam used was an Oregon Scientific ATC-9K.

    You can see our sensor pod here: www.imageryllc.com.  We did obtain FAA approval to fly our pod - took a long time to get there.

    So how is your camera design coming along, Dave?  I have since perfected mine though looks completely different than the one above.  It's still self-contained and portable so no STCs are required, and the video quality is greatly improved due to a rigid belt drive system and the use of a GoPro HERO 3+ camera.
