    I'm not 100% sure as I can't say I've done extensive testing of all airframes in strong wind.  That said, I imagine the 1880 will give you a bit more control authority in strong winds but in no winds the X8 will be a tad more efficient. 

    Sorry to hear about your Talon!  Good luck on your choice.

    Out of interest in your option which 1 out the 4 would you say handles strong wind the best. I has a talon, which performed good in strong winds, but unfortunately met its end against a tree one day. My brother just bought the Skywalker X5 and I am taking the Skywalker 1880?
  • That X7 actually belongs to Scott.  Mine is the X8.  On his X7 he has the RCTimer 900kv motor, runs 4S, usually as 12x6 or 12x8 prop, I believe.
