I'm not 100% sure as I can't say I've done extensive testing of all airframes in strong wind. That said, I imagine the 1880 will give you a bit more control authority in strong winds but in no winds the X8 will be a tad more efficient.

Out of interest in your option which 1 out the 4 would you say handles strong wind the best. I has a talon, which performed good in strong winds, but unfortunately met its end against a tree one day. My brother just bought the Skywalker X5 and I am taking the Skywalker 1880?

That X7 actually belongs to Scott. Mine is the X8. On his X7 he has the RCTimer 900kv motor, runs 4S, usually as 12x6 or 12x8 prop, I believe.
