Used the APM, Raptor and 900mhz 100mw 3DR telemetry to enjoy an awesome autonomous flight. I tested waypoints, guided mode, changed altitude and other awesome telem/mission planner features. Can't wait for more! Great job DIYD...

Very cool Trent, you have one heck of an efficient airframe setup! Also a great promotional video for the amazing things the APM board and MP software are capable of. It never fails to surprise me how far this platform has come, point and click flying is just so cool :).
Thanks Trent. Continue to enjoy your posts.
Much better location for flight testing.

Joshua: Thank you for sharing the video! It really helps!
Monroe: Thank you! It was so much fun. I love it when it works so flawlessly!
Ty: You can change the setting by right clicking the HUD on the Flight Data screen, click "user items" and selecting "timeInAir" and "distTraveled".
Alex: Thank you! I actually have to tone it down sometimes... : )
Love the enthusiasm. Keep up the good work.
I really like the Air Time and Traveled distance display, but I don't have that in my Mission Planner. How can I add something like that?
Great Work Trent! I've always been a fan of your work since the beginning :) I shared this blog with all our Twitter and Facebook followers!
@Morli: One type of glue that works really great is gorilla glue, which requires water to activate and foams through the structure increasing the bond. If you clean the excess after 10 mins you don't need to cut it off. GOOP glue for me is a close second. CA isn't that good for glueing structures of heavier planes, it tends to get brittle over time and requires smoother surfaces, so I only use that for glueing the attachments like winglets and other light stuff.
Moril: Thanks! I wouldn't worry too much about the glue, any glue that doesn't eat the foam should be just fine as the wing spar does most the structural support on the Raptor.
Trent , that is good build episodes , I am watching it again. your video inspired me to explore and probably make my own flying wing soon. Have to figure out the source for glue you used. Good video blog too. keep it up. cheers
John: Thank you! What an honor. That's a great website, I'll have to spend some time exploring it!
