I am a little confused. I watched a Iris video where the flight is being controlled by a Android Tablet. How is the equipment connected to it and can the Ipad be used? If only the Android works, what is the recommended tablet? Thanks for any help
And longer legs...
I was told the final consumer version will have a larger battery with longer flight time than the developer version. Can you confirm what the final battery size is?
Thanks!
Happy to hear it, my guess is that early Pixhawks will be going into the early Iris's and then become available a bit later.
There are, I believe still a few remaining hardware and firmware issues with the Pixhawk that require being dealt with before the improved (release version) Pixhawk will be ready for release.
Wish you well with that Craig, Tridge and the rest of the team.
You might want to verify solid operation with 3DR telemetry radios, FPV systems, MinimOSD and assorted PPM receivers.
Just a thought.
Best Regards,
Gary
Great news! I assume that means pixhawk will also start shipping soon?
Looks good Sue! Glad to know that you are going to be able to ship in December.
