Arducopter Pilotlamp based on Mavlink

I built a quadcopter based upon the TBS discovery frame, as the APM is located in the frame it is quite difficult to get hold of the status leds.
This is why I wanted to have some kind of Pilotlamp indicating the state of the APM.

I started off wih a prototype (Arduino pro mini with RGB led).

The above video is a small demo.

Plan is to convert it so it can be used with the Xaircraft Pilotlamp

    which pin on the APM did u connect the led to ?

    How did you fit your APM in the TBS frame and manage to balance it with the battery?

    Id like to see your code as well... I've been working with the ardustation code, but it seems bloated.

    Hey, would it be possible to get a look at your code? I'm trying to do the exact same thing with an ioBoard from jDrones.. They have an example but their code was a mess to get my head wrapped around.
