Great Produkt!
But why should it only be used in quads?
I think it is a severe limitation not to provide more outputs to control gimbals cameras and other stuff in copters with more than 4 props.
Anyway, looking forward to it!
I'd like to know the support for ESP8266 802.11bgn:)
I like the idea of CAN, but when are we going to see mass produced, reasonably priced CAN ESCs in a wide range of sizes to compete with the existing ESCs?
In our opinion, PWM is the old way. This board will primarily be on Quads, so even 6 is overkill. The future is CAN which this board supports. Anything we can do to help the transition along, the better.
Why only 6 pwm output ?
@Nick Arsov ,
this design remember me my VR uBrain ;) It's nice that after 1 year deicde to join me in mono cpu design ;)
looks very nice!
It will need a small tweak to the nsh startup script for ArduPilot due to the different sensor mix, but that should be very easy.
The production boards will likely change to the JST GH Series Connector to coincide with the shift in standards within DroneCode.
Awesome work!
Same form-factor as a Naze32 & Clickmate connectors too... You're spoiling us. :)
+ some more pictures....
