BeastTX - Let's redefine the way to fly!

Merry Christmas and a happy new year!

We are almost ready to start with our all-in-one solution, the BeastTX, at Kickstarter. At the same time we introduce a new productline for automated flights. The D.O.C (Drone Operation Controller) is not a simple remote-control. It combines the groundstation, remote-control, video-transmission and mobility in one device. However the best part is, that you are able to fly automated UAVs with only one person 100% legal. Check out our facebooksite and homepage for more details. Let us redefine the way of fly with UAVs in 2016 together at Kickstarter...

The BeastTX appears as a DOC in 2016. This Trailer is a foretaste of the Kickstarter-Project starting at 1st quarter 2016 !

  • i don't get a solid design philosophy in the video or clear technical solution or integration... sorry i just see it as a sunday mod.

  • I know I'm tired of lugging around equipment with wires all over the place. If a turnkey system were available at an affordable price, plus the features as Randy describes, I'd buy it today.

  • @Paul Meier

The System is full customizable. You can use 2,4GHz via wlan or 5,8Ghz Analog for HD Video-transmission. This depends on which modules you choose. The wlan-link takes no effect of interference to the RC-link. There is an adaption of 2.4GHz channel-usage.

    best regards

  • Spot on Randy.

We need a Taranis type RC sleeve for a 7-8 inch tablet at around $300. You could then run linux (on a tablet running an Atom for example) with a touch version of companion9x running to program the rc...or an android version of that. Then wifi for telemetry and video streaming as required. With a flexable sleeve type mount you can always replace the expensive tab part to the latest version without much effort...plus the tablet gets more usage if it doesnt have to be attached.

Looking good, a lot of features!  best of luck.

At the risk of being slightly off topic, I think there's a big demand for a wifi transmitter/telemetry system for HD video and control for people who are building their own copters - basically the equivalent of the Solo controller or Bebop skycontroller.  I think the mass move to wifi is going to come along with the move to linux based flight controllers which will likely pick up steam in 2016.

Ideally I'd like to see the a wifi equivalent OpenTX (i.e. what's in the Taranis) because they're open source with a vibrant developer community surrounding them but who knows how it will turn out, maybe the BeastTX (or a smaller/cheaper version?) will fill the need.  Again, sorry for going slightly off topic.

Why would you use 2.4 instead of 5.8 for wifi hd video? How can you avoid RC interference ?

  • Hi,

yes, we will sell some early birds of it and it is little bit under 1k €. The normal pricing is compliant to the market. Please wait for the Kickstarter project and please share and like our project. We will make more videos in the next weeks.

    kind regrads and merry christmas,

    martin

  • I thought it looked familiar somehow. Thx for the link Paul.

I hope they fix the price to get a slice of market though. We need a UAV type controller.

  • One year ago it was priced around 4300.00 USD.................

  • Looks cool. Im also interested but not if it is priced to high. For the hardware I'm thinking around $500-$700, but its likely to be above $1k from the looks of it.
