Recently several cases were designed for Navio+ and Raspberry Pi 2 by community members and we would like to share them in one blog post. Now you have what to choose from. We would also like to thank designers for their great work. So pick one you like and make sure to share the results with us!

Having a flat bottom or even special brackets for vibration dampeners they simplify mounting and will as well protect barometer on your Navio+ from sunlight and air streams

If you do not have a 3D printer, make sure to check out this case made from an Adafruit Raspberry Pi case.

Ordering 3D printing is easy thanks to services like Shapeways.

You can also design your own case using Navio+ STL model. Feel free to join the discussion about the designs.

  • Hi, nice thread.

I have printed this case for my raspberry pi 2 and it fits perfectly: http://www.thingiverse.com/thing:684495

Also I have seen this case for the APM mini 3.1: http://www.thingiverse.com/thing:449013

I'm sure some enterprising person could join the two using sketchup????

People may ask why do this?

Well, they can then connect the APM mini to a Raspberry pi using just 4 jumper wires and install ma... onto the raspberry pi, add a pi camera for fpv, and stream to a ground station - potentially eliminating the need for fpv equipment & turnigy 9x controller & transmitter.

I must admit that my own adventures into this experiment have not been smooth integration; the wifi dongle or modem needs it's own power as the raspberry pi cannot supply enough to it.
