Dronestagram, the drone photography social network is launching the first international aerial photo contest captured by drone !
Since July 2013, thousands of users have published pictures and the website is now gathering the most amazing aerial shots from a community of photographers seduced by the technological revolution offered by multirotors.
In order to accelerate the development of our community, Dronestagram is organizing an international photo contest from May 15 to June 30 to reward the most beautiful photos published on its website.
National Geographic revue is partner of the contest and will provide its critical and passionate look to elect the most beautiful aerial photos.
To enter the contest, the participants need to publish one or more photos taken from a drone on www.dronestagr.am.
The winner will be featured in National Geographic magazine (French edition) and in the newswatch section of the official website !
Parrot, Go Pro, Picanova and other brands are sponsors of the event and will reward the winners offering drones, cameras, and printing of their photos.
The authors of the most liked photos on the website will also be rewarded in the "popular prize" section.
This is the first edition of this competition that looks promising and innovative in terms of image.
Thank you and don’t forget to take a break on our website if you don’t suffer from vertigo of course : www.dronestagr.am

It's still a crock, that's what they were aiming for. What about the text the first international aerial photo contest captured by drone
@Gary, If you read carefully it is the "1st Drone Photography World Contest" as in the name if the contest, not the worlds first drone photography contest ever held.
But I fully understand why you thought that, i did the exact same thing until your post made me read it one more time more carefully. :)
This is not the worlds first drone photo contest, in future posters moderators will be holding "Worlds First"posts for clarification. Too many folks are claiming things that were done years ago.
Great idea :) I didn't know this page thank's for the info.
