On New years Eve I went flying with my Nitro ArduPlane. Mainly to check my config settings since my last attempted flight. This time it went much better. after tweaking my Turnigy 9X it seems to by flying fine. Next up, full Mission!

@Andrew
Thanks! I actually have been trying to set up the MPU6K_FILTER just for vibration. Luckily I have been spending more time redesigning my APM mount to eliminate vibration. All of the extras are more than helpful with many issues I have faced! I agree a preflight setup/checklist would do no only the Nitro part of the community good but everyone, as sometimes we all have the tendency to get caught up in the excitement of flying and forget something.

I am actually in the High Desert of Southern California.
Wow , If you pay attention you can see the "jello period change", I just made that up, it's an aliasing based on the freq/rpm of the motor.
Hi Archangel,
Flying nitro planes with APM is fun! My HotDog is my favourite plane at the moment.
We really should have a section in the docs for nitro setup tips, but here are a few in case you haven't run across them yet:

Nice video. One of the nice things about this site is we get to see videos from all over the place. I guess you're in the states somewhere .. maybe near Las Vegas maybe? Anyway..nice video.
