Free OS UAV Plan!

I designed this baby over the weekend for everyone to have if interested. It should be a very good size for most of your application. I can be built with foam, wood, and composite.


Name: RVOS v.1.0
Wing Span: 1.6m
Length: 1.1m (nose to tip of v-tail)
Max Weight: 6kg
Recommend 4 Channels (Aileron, V-tail, Throttle)
Power: .45 - .65 cu.in. or equilvalent electric power

    Dont worry about the email guys - I'll post the file somewhere for you and post the link tonight. just have to finish a few small things and recalculate the engine thrust line then I can realese it. It's OS so feel free to modify it or do as much CFD as you wish! :)

    Hi.. very impressive, I started to draw one in Solidworks, but after seeing this I would like to see the 3D files, can they be imported into SW..? which software was it drawn in.?

    Great work!

    Could you tell us how went about designing it? (i.e. What was your design process? Do you do any CFD modeling? Do you just use UGX/Catia/etc?) I would love to get into the design of these aircrafts, but looking for a place to start. Nice work again.
