Try Alibre (www.alibre.com). More cost-effective CAD solution. Should be able to open the SW file.

  • Cheers,

Just something I cooked up that I can use as a test bed for different autopilots

I thought I want to design a universal (as much as possible) size airframe according to a lot of posts I've read on this site about what people wants.

Mainly, small but can carry a lot of payload, large internal space, electric powered or IC, one mini or cheap standard servo on each control surfaces, stable and easy to fly be the average RC'er, etc...

I plan to make some for myself later this year...just really busy at the moment.
  • Thanks Ryan, the files work ok now... can you tell us abit about the background, did you have any drawings which you modelled it from? or just from your own work.

Look like it will work, Keep us informed when you build it, I may have a go too.

    Richard
