  • I was trying to open it in explorer, using winrar did the trick.
  • not sure what is going on then sorry. I uploaded the file to one of my servers for you to try.

    hxxp://www.hawkeyecs.com/tmp/rvosuav.zip

copy and paste url and replace xx with tt. that is the file I just downloaded and opened. I use winrar to extract the zip file.
  • I have tried several times with no luck. The DOWNLOAD ZIP FILE HERE!!!! link in the original post is the current file?
  • @Richard the contents of the zip file are Solidworks files.

@ AA Funi I just downloaded the zip again and it extracted fine, I also opened the assembly in Solidworks. I would try downloading it again possible something went bad in your download.
  • No one has responded to either my post or Richard's post. The current zip file seems to have something wrong with it. If I download it I end up with an empty zip file that wont extract.
  • Hi everyone, I for one haven't been able to open the zip files on the original listing. I've tried several CAD programs to no avail. Take care.
  • Hello Joshua,
I'm fairly new to RC and am headed for FPV. I went with an Easy Star and it's fine. If I could go back I'd get the Sky Surfer http://www.bananahobby.com/1937.html
It has the same specs as an Easy Star but comes with ailerons (very helpful if you want to make a UAV) and radio. All for $100. I'd probably go with the brushless motor upgrade. Just my $0.02.
  • Anybody else have trouble with the file? I end up with an empty zip file.
  • Hi Joshua. I believe the item that your looking for, is a very popular item here in the US, the two motor version is call the Yellow bee, and the airplane that your looking for called the Busy Bee is a very Hot item. I've listed two wed site's that I think that you'll find interesting. The Yellow Bee version can be found on www.raidentech.com, and the Busy Bee can be found on www.rcgroups.com specifically ( Hobbyking.com ) Hope that this helps you out, and good luck on your construction project. Oh and Dave thankyou for the heads up on the rf solutions.co.uk web site. That's exactly what I've been looking for. Regards Richard T. Leiterman-USA

You could try either of these links for your easybee.

    http://www.rfsolutions.co.uk/acatalog/EasyBee_Zigbee_Module.html
    http://www.abacom-tech.com//ZigBee-RF-Transceiver-Module-EasyBee-P9...

It is by no means an exhaustive list.
