This is what I have been waiting for!
Unfortunately the price might be an issue.
Here is their products page. I am glad to see that this is being considered for multirotor applications. It looks to be a rock solid system and will open up live HD transmission for news and sporting events.

It is technology like this that will make multirotors attractive to the TV industry.

It's been almost a year and we still don't have affordable HD FPV options "off-the-shelf".
Gavin, this is absolutely Stirling and important work. As Gary suggested, we would all love to hear the details in a blog post here on DIY drones! I am sure it will spark some very interesting discussion and projects.
Thank you! I will definitely consider doing a blog on here regarding the setup.

Hi Gavin,
Great video and very nice system.
I really think it would be great if you would do a Blog post of your own here, possibly describing each of the components and providing links for them as well as describing the software and firmware setup needed.
It looks like a very practical and affordable approach.
Best Regards,
Gary
Check out my low cost HD FPV + telemetry system:

Luke, I think you are right. It is a DREAM though to be able to do FPV in HD! Imagine the feeling of flying in HD like a bird... WOW.
Thanks allot John! It is wonderful to see this tech being developed. A few month ago, I posted an Idea I had for HD fpv, and then hardly anyone knew of any systems that could do live HD at a couple hundred feet. I get the feeling this is still understated tech.

We can recommend RF amplifier solutions, and/or you can put together a tracking antenna setup (Ardustation or a commercial system) which will achieve very long range. A system can be put together for 100+km range. Contact us for a radio document which goes into this. RF regulatory issues can affect what is allowable.
Dear Jon
Looking for MicroraptorHD...With additional amplifier, how far I will fly?
