Hello;
I been getting a lot of emails about how we make our PCBs so finally had some time to post something:
Making PCB for production runs
We are in a 3rd world country so we can't get PCBs/asm'ed in anything under 8-10 weeks so we devolved small scale production process.

yeab thinning with ethanol, spraying and keep water out is really the key. 10 pin DFN's are really not a problem.
I haven't tried toner transfer so no idea if that's a useful process
PCBs are cool.
I plan on etching some boards for SMD in the near future. Lack of equipment is making me lean towards the toner transfer process.
Can't wait for your next article!
The dilution factor of the ethanol & the method of spraying photoresist are the trade secrets. This is only the 2nd time someone documented surface mount chips on a home made board. Normally, home made boards are only used for through hole parts.
Nice article for simple PCBs, look forward to next chapter.
