(Above Assembled jDrones Hexa)
jDrones ArduCopter goes color
Original ArduCopters made by jDrones have been getting several upgrades and upgrades will continue to come as promised. First series of upgrades are new and fine looking Black and also Carbon ArduCopters. Kits are now on packing area and after packing process is ready, order pages will be updated with new options.
On picture above is one of our Assembled Hexa ArduCopter with black and slick look.
Not only Hexa was updated also quad has been going through several changes. Our Quad kits have now too several color options along with different materials. You can have quad in black too and even with colored arms.
If you want even more cool looking birds, don't forget our Carbon frame.
And for people who loves carbon we can provide nice little closeup from central frame. Now that looks cool doesn't it :)
And as everyone knows jDrones high quality frames these all frames follow our original quality packing and cutting requirements that we always been having. You won't receive parts that does not fit, all parts have been manually checked and tested before packing.
There are several other frames coming too on Q1, stay tuned and fly hard but fly safe.

Comments
There is nothing wrong with obtaining inspiration from other designs/contributions. It is nice to acknowledge this though. The jDrones stuff cannot claim any originality - everything is borrowed from other designs yet nothing is even mentioned. Talk about an arrogant #&*$@!!
The "upgraded" landing gear - MK Hilander ...and the same for so many other parts.
I do agree however with you approach to the frame. The MK frame design is good, so why not use this MK design as a basis. I will add however that you did not make an yourself MK with 20€ as you claim - You made an MK frame:)
Also, I have found fibre impregnated Bakelite sheet provides a great material for centre plates. Maybe that is what you call G10 as I am not familiar with this. And your comments on the dome and acrylic are right on the money.
I would post pics of the design enhancements I have implemented but I am certain they would ripped off (as has happened in the past) by those who use this forum as cheap source of commercial resources.
Nice, getting better!
I would personally abandon the Acrylic in favor of the G10 or CF and also the dome, good to protect the fragile electronics, but not too good to protect it form atmospheric phenomenas (humidity, wind, dust etc.).
What about a nice closed dome?
@Simon and Juan: what is the key difference from MK standard frames and 90% of the frames around the world? If a square or rounded centerplate with 10mm square ALU tubing makes a MK, well then I have biult myself a MK with 20€ !!
Excellent work, Jani!
Wow, holy slap in the face to the AC devs... I don't understand why you'd spend time here if you can't be supportive.
@Juan
Its a frame, you can use any FC you like...
Keep trying Jani. I am sure that eventually it will look just like an MK.
But unfortunately for you...it will never fly like one.
Great stuff Jani, looks good !
Wow,
Mikrokopter. Call the lawyers :)
Yeah ! that "secret" is out... :)
Nice to see them in these nice pictures Jani!
Great work as usual.
I will be proud to carry them once the current stock of non colored ones goes to zero! :) (Should be quick at current speed!)
Keep it up Jani! Looking forward for the end of Q1 with more super news like this.
