Over the past couple of weeks I have been busy reworking my original APM Mission Planner. Together with my partner/designer Samantha Nelson we have focused on improving the APM Planner’s interface, ideally resulting in a more intuitive user experience.

Below are a couple screenshots of the new APM Planner!

  • @ Michael   It would be nice if the zoom = to at least HK_CSG's.  Same goggle map right?  Also what about a basic map that could be loaded for at the flying field that does not need internet connection.  very basic map just something to use as a reference. ?
  • I really like the new look! And just in time to demo my summer project for a few friends in HIL this week too.

Two little things I've noticed though. In HIL at least, the VSI doesn't work. Also, I can't find how to set current location to Home? Seems this was really easy before.

A bigger one would seem to be that when I try to change Servo Roll P value I get a dialog box saying Set RLL2SRV_P Failed. Going in and changing it with the previous version 0.4.37 works.

  • Brilliant!

Downloaded this morning and started everything from new.

A great leap forward, very easy to use.

    Well done to all involved

  • ok thanks,  i think i am working it all out slowly.

p.s very impressed with your hardware aswell :)

  • Great work!! It looks really nice!

Are low resolution supported for netbook use?

I will have a look at giving better zoom, but like ritchie said, the quality of the picture wont get any better, it will just start blurring out.
Michael, that's fine. Look at it as a problem with mouse resolution instead  ;)  A closer look will definitely be nice for confined missions.
