The wifi backpack may prove to be cool depending on range, but the fact that they are integrating remote control, better streaming ans stills performance really shows they are listening to their customers.  SO, is this YOUR next drone-cam?

  • Daniel, Thanks for the hint. Actually I ordered it from Germany :) I got in touch with the store I bought it from and asked for partial refund or upgrade to the new model. Let's see what they reply.. Stupid thing is they didn't accept credit card, so it's paid for already.

  • Andre, you can normally return new-bought items in a 14 days period.. in germany you don't even have to write your reasons... try to go down that route, especially because the old ones are dropping in price at a extreme rate!

  • Sucks because I still have the old one in the mail :-(

  • Wow, that's a huge breakthrough! 120 fps and Wi-Fi streaming are excellent new features!

An only thing, which makes me upset is that I have finally purchased GoPro camera recently (about a month ago) and didn't know that they were going to release a new one and discount prices for the old ones...

  • After turning my HK EPS FPV into a non-controlled submarine at the beach this weekend I've ordered the GoPro2 - it should be here this week. I'll post up some vids once I get it...

  • Why didnt I wwaaaiiittt!

    Looks awesome though!
  • If there is less fisheye effet, yes :)

  • The 120fps is cool.  I also like that they allowed it to fit in the old housing.

Not sure it's worth the $100 premium for what already is an awesome camera.

  • I was just about to post it myself... wifi streaming and remote control rocks.. of course, depends on range, radio link over xbee will have longer range for the remote control part
