Besides the issues of dropping nothing without approval from an aircraft other than water or finely divided sand and the flight over crowds… The folks at Darkwing Aerials have created a video that’s going viral. The folks at Oppikoppi must be very happy with the press they are getting.

Nice to finally see a really valuable civilian application for "Drones".
When we made the SteadiDrone EI8HT we did not reallly think about dropping beers, else we'de have made a cool special beer gimbal ;) lol clients of ours here in South Africa.
Dominos delivery drone is just around the corner. All we need is a insulated carrying compartment, an integrated credit card reader and FAA approval.
I'm pretty sure the first two are trivial, the last - not so much.
Finally a useful payload other than an SLR or GoPro!
If they build a bigger Oppikopter can they deliver pizza with the beer?:-)
