Hi DIY Drones folks, We’re excited to announce the launch of Parrot Education! In support of the academic drone revolution, Parrot Education will encourage students and educators to learn, teach, and innovate using drones and, in the big picture, help prepare a new generation for the rising multi-billion dollar commercial UAV industry. Here are some examples of what the program offers to schools, universities, and non-profit institutions: |

Hi Greg,
Thank you for the response. It appears that the Dicso is indeed close:
Excited is an understatement! I will be in touch :)
Nick. I have a Disco now and its awesome. Should be out in time for Fall classes and will be a real game changer for fixed wing instruction. I don't have an exact release date but its coming soon.
Parrot Education is definitely open to collaboration, particularly for curriculum partners. If DIY folks have curriculum that they want to share with the broader academic community, we are interested in linking to your website, youtube video, or Github page as a resource.
Whether its drone journalism or geology, there is likely a faculty member or teacher out there that is interested in drones and has no idea where to start. I am confident the DIY community could be that resources to help train a whole new generation of drone users. Check us out at edu.parrot.com and shoot us an email if you have some ideas for content.
Great news Greg. I will sign up
