Pixhawk vibration dampener.

I want to show you my Pixhawk vibration dampener that im currently using.

I used the 65g Dampeners from Hobbyking. The bottom plate is 1,5mm gfk and the dampened Controller plate is 0,8mm carbon that i had laying around.

The holes in the bottom plate are slightly offset to the side to keep some tension on the Controller.

So far it works really well.

and if anyone is curious about the home of this pixhawk here are two pictures. :)

Make sure to use a ziptie on each dampener, otherwise the controller will start to shake.

  • nice, please share your vibration testing and your dxf file please. many thanks

  • Nice. Really interested in dxf file. Pl share, thanks.

  • Also it would be great to see the logs.

  • Really interested in the dxf file. Possible to share? Thanks

  • Looking nice and working perfect if we put the FC on the top plate. I use 2 layers of 3M double side foam tape on my QAV500 and TBS Disco (both under top plate). Vibration level bettween -8 and -12 when hovering.
  • Looking good, I'm migrating to Pixhawk from APM this week so looking at ready made solutions out there for Pixhawk

  • Very nice. Do you have the logs to show the vibrations?
