I hope 3DR can produce similar carbon props in a variety of sizes.
I prefer your coaxial concept, light and failure proof.

I see that Lockheed Martin is using almost exactly the same CF propeller profile that I have on my big octo. At least I did something right.. :)
Hi Randy, this is little out of topic but i´m iterested in big motor stators on picture above. Do you have more info about it?
The tricopter was the only thing that I had time to get together for the show with NeuMotors installed, the motors are a special wind for the EDF for better performance at lower RPMs. They are also working on motors for the open multicopter market including coaxial counter rotating motors similar to this one I modified and built on a Y6 platform. I hope to see something for testing soon.
