Waterproof it and put me a gimbal for my waterproof case and Gopro 3 Black and I will buy it.

I perfect agree with you Martin.
And also less vibration if flat is vertically, instead of horizontally.
The single reason I would see a horizontally flat arms is when you forward at high speed. But a quad is mainly for hovering.
