Hi everybody! I'm very happy to announce that the Remzibi OSD DIY Drones variant is now in stock in the DIY Drones store!

Our version is fully compatible with the original design and will work with Happy Killmore's config tool.

Our price is $89.99, this includes a custom FTDI programming cable and a set of pin headers.

Links and full feature list are available on the product page.

We hope you enjoy this one, and as always, feedback is welcome!

  • Rod, have you tried to put the Remzibi in configuration mode by holding down SW1 while resetting or powering up the board? the LED should stay solid and the serial test should report the firmware version.

  • Has anybody managed to get this running?

I cannot get it to respond to the Remzibi OSD Configuration Tool. Whenever I run the serial test I get "Failed: OSD did not respond".

  • same problem here... How can i connect it to APM 2.0 ?!?

  • hello Ed Kirk I have the same problem no assembly instructions
some one find the solution for connect it to APM?

  • So far, the 3D Robotics version of the Remzibi OSD does not appear to be compatible with the Remzibi version of the OSD.  I'm awaiting a response from 3DR to explain how I'm supposed to load the firmware, what the buttons do and the status LED's meanings. So at this point, I don't know why it's called Remzibi's OSD.

  • I received my Remzibi OSD 3DR today and looking for instructions on how to connect it to my APM2.  I can't seem to find any instructions for the electrical wiring on the Remzibi OSD 3DR, there is a note in the "Store" about the silk screen print error and that is confusing.  "RSSI" is between motor battery and the coms which "+.-" is it refering to?  I have searched the DIY site and can't find anything under Remzibi OSD 3DR.  There is a link for instructions in the Store but it shows a different version of the OSD.

    Thanks,  Ed

  • This is not from me. I wrote software for the PC that you use to configure it. Remzibi designed and built the original boards. This version is from DIYdrones and I suspect they will release the files for it.

  • Is it possible for you to release the schematics of this board? I would like to study it. If you cannot then I do understand as this is from Happy Kilimore rather than from diydrones.

    Thanks

  • Jordi, good to know that MiniOSD is soon available.

I hope that mavlink protocol will come with realtime pack current data, since that is an system parameter of interest.

Is there anything (in AC environment) that the Remzibi can do that the MiniOSD can´t?

  • Developer

@Johann, The MiniOSD is about to be released. They are fixing some little heat problems...
