Erik,
No, this is our proprietary software developed from the scratch in the company. We're using different technology compared to Mission Planner. Moreover, versions for Mac and Linux will be released soon (Mission Planner is only windows based).
I interest for develop it if you share code.
Waladi,
It's recommended to mount the system on rubber dampeners (e.g. these ones https://shop.aerodron.ch/de/mk0122-2.html). However, due to the mass and size of the board it's not affected that much on medium to big size airframes. And if you have balanced props you can mount the system without any dampeners at all.
Darius,
SmartAP 3.0 Pro was developed generally for professional applications where the safety and reliability are the most significant aspects. The chance of fly-away is definitely much lower compared to Pixhawk thanks to high-quality manufacturing / control resources and software thoroughly verified in simulation.
I would recommend you trying SmartAP 3.0. As a benefit, we're opened for collaboration and can consider adding special features on your request. Message us here http://sky-drones.com/contacts.php and we'll give you a discount.
Kirill,
How do SmartAP manage to handle vibration from the copter?
is it include internal vibration damper on the IMU or user should add damper?
Thanks.
could tell me frankly if your SmartAP 3.0 Pro Flight Controller
is more powerful than Pixhawk and the number of Fly-away cases is at lower rate vs. Pixhawk controlled drones ?
Tell me if we should switch to your SmartAP 3.0 Pro Flight Controller from Pixhawk or not and why.
