Hi guys,
AUAV Co. team is proud to announce two new useful gadgets - an I2C AIRSPEED sensor and 3.3/5V UNIVERSAL I2C HUB.
The newly designed AIRSPEED sensor now incorporates JST GH connector + additional solder pads on the bottom side, and 5V->3.3V LDO which makes it compatible with 3.3V I2C. The size is 15x21mm.
Our new I2C HUB incorporates PA9516A + 3.3V LDO + SPST slide switches for all channels, thus making it compatible with either 5V I2C devices or 3.3V I2C devices at the same time. Using the slide switches on the top, one can choose 3.3V or 5V interface to his peripheral I2C devices. The I2C HUB size is 14x42mm.
Best regards
Nick

Thanks for the update Phillip. Creating this cable is not a problem I have everything I need on hand.
100%, but you will need to convert the DF13 to a JST GH connector. We have stock on both of these boards and hope to get them listed on the site tonight.
If I currently have a 3dr branded airspeed sensor that I purchased of ebay can I buy the new AUAV I2C hub to make this work by running 5v logic to the airspeed to overcome this failure between the PixRacer and the 3DR airspeed?
Great Nick! Exactly what we needed to replace the disappereance of 3DR parts, in paricular digital airspeed measurement.
Johnatan, we address this issue which affects most of the existing digital airspeed boards in the world. https://github.com/PX4/Hardware/issues/55 and we also use the new drone code standard GH connector. It will plug into our new hub which breaks out the i2c from the GPS connector on the PixRacer.
Nice!
What are differences between new Airspeed sensor with currently available digital Airspeed sensor from 3DR? any improvements?
Is new airspeed sensor going to be plug and play with Pixracer?
Great form factor, will buy 6 of that for 3 axis relative speed measurement!
