WuStangDan, correct it's not aimed at the DIY guys but rather the wide range of difference commercial and industrial applications and clients who need a unit that will work out the box without having to fiddle with settings etc, while still being fully adjustable and 'open' for those more advanced operators.

Any ballpark price tag for just the airframe?
Looks like a beautiful design. 5k is well out of my price range though. Although I'm assuming you are aiming at the more professional photography market as opposed to the hobby market anyways.
